Day 01
Route : Airport > Negombo
Drive : 25 minute drive
Night spending city : Negombo
HIGHLIGHT
Arrival at the Bandaranaike International airport in Katunayeka, you will be welcomed by the tour driver / guide who will be accompanying you during your round trip and be transferred to your hotel in Negombo.
Day 02
Route : Negombo > Pinnawala > Kandy
Drive : 4 and half hour drive
Night spending city : Kandy
HIGHLIGHT
After breakfast leave for Kandy, en-route visit Pinnawala elephant orphanage. If you leave early enough you will be able to reach Pinnawla at the feeding time of the baby elephants which is a heartwarming sight to see, also you will be able to see how a herd of about 50/60 elephants amongst whom many baby elephants are lead to the river by their mahouts where they enjoy their bathing. Afterwards proceed to Kandy. After getting refreshed at your hotel, you can do a city tour in Kandy. Kandy is an exciting place for shopping with souvenirs made of wood, copper, silver, brass, ebony, bronze then also there are Ceramics, lacquer work, handlooms, batiks, jewelry and rush and reed-ware can also be purchased. You’ll visit Sri Dalada Maligawa also known as the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic The main attraction -of Kandy. It is a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy and is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of Buddha. A place revered by countless number of people around the world. On completion go to watch a cultural show performed by traditional Kandyan dancers and drummers in the late evening.
Day 03
Route : Kandy > Nuwara Eliya
Drive : 3 half hour drive
Night spending city : Nuwara Eliya
HIGHLIGHT
After breakfast leave for Nuwara Eliya and en-route visit a tea factory and estate where you will be able to take a glimpse in to the tea making process and even purchase some world renowned Ceylon black tea. After checking in to your hotel you can do a city tour in Nuwara Eliya city. Nuwara Eliya is where the British succeeded in creating an English countryside, with homes in styles from Georgian to Queen Anne. Well-kept lawns with hedges, golf courses and beautiful parks have given the place an air of nostalgia. Situated 1,890 meters above sea level the air is cool and fresh a serene retreat from the hustle and bustle of the commercial areas.
(Optional : You can also partake in water based activities like Speed boat riding / Jet skieng in the famous gregories lake during the city tour)
Day 04
Route : Nuwara Eliya > Horton Plains > Ella
Drive : 5 half hour drive
Night spending city : Ella
HIGHLIGHT
After an eraly breakfast leave for Ella. En-route visit the Horton Plains national park. This beautiful, silent place has some excellent hikes under the towering shadows of Sri Lanka’s second and third highest mountains. Covered by wild grass lands, waterfalls and misty lakes this mysterious land hosts a wide variety of wild life.
This plateau comes to a sudden end at the end of your hike with a stunning escarpment which plunges 880 meters portraying a breath taking scenery which could possibly not be explained with words and is given its name ‘World’s End’ due to this. On completion proceed to Ella.
Day 05
Route : Ella

At leisure in Ella. Ella is one of the areas famous in Sri Lanka amongst the many tourists who visit for its beauty, waterfalls and moderate temperature. Based at an elevation of 1,041 meters above sea level, it has a constant influx of tourists and is known as one of the must visit places in the country by many travellers.
(Optional : You can do optional excursions like Trecking to locations like the 9 arch bridge / Little Adam’s Peak, Rock climbing and Zip linning while you are staying in Ella. You can arrange these activities through your driver guide.)
Day 06
Route : Ella > Yala
Drive : 2 half hour drive
Night spending city : Yala

After breakfast leave for Yala. After checking in to your tented camp you can get refreshed and do an evening jeep safari at Yala national park. Yala is located in the southeastern corner of the island. Its northern boundaries border the Lahugala elephant sanctuary and it has the added bonus of scenic ocean frontage. The terrain is a varied course of flat plains altering with rocky outcrops. The vegetation ranges from open parklands to dense jungles. Water holes, small lakes, lagoons and streams provide water for the innumerable inhabitants. There are 215 species of birds, 44 species of mammals, 47 species of reptiles, 18 species of amphibians and 21 species of fresh water fish living in Yala national park
Day 07
Route : Yala > Mirissa
Drive : 3 hour drive
Night spending city : Mirissa
HIGHLIGHT
After breakfast leave for Mirissa. Check-in to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Mirissa is a famous tourist destination based on the South coast of Sri Lanka and is famous for its beautiful beaches, native marine turtles and exotic fish. Spend your beach stay relaxing and enjoying the beautiful sun sets and sea on its golden beaches of Mirissa.

(Optional : Mirissa is also one of the two places where you can see Blue Whales roaming, feeding and nurturing their young. Should you like you can arrange a whale watching trip where you might be able to see these gentle giants in their natural habitat [this depends on the time of your visit as blue whales tend to migrate to different locations worldwide depending on the season]. Mirissa has the highest concentration of whales and dolphins throughout Sri Lanka. You can see Bryde’s whales, Sperm whales, Fin whales and sometimes the illusive Killer whales. Also Mirissa Sea has the presence of many varieties of dolphins such as Common dolphins, Bottlenose dolphins, Spinner dolphins, Risso’s dolphins and Stripped dolphins. Compared to these heavy weights Bluefin tuna, Flying fish and sea turtles are a common sight in this area. You can arrange this with the hotel you are staying at)

Route : Mirissa > Airport
